Reclaimed Wood Hook Rack

On a recent over night trip to a flea market....
(more about that later wink wink)

A woman was selling beautiful pieces of reclaimed
carved wood... I couldn't help but grab a couple of these beauties.

At home and I gave one piece a quick coat of
white paint... then added some random hooks.

The other I painted Duck Egg Blue
with a dry brush of Pure White...

then I added a couple of old wire hooks.

The beautiful carvings popped when painted and the dry brush
technique brought out all the aged details.

This was a quick project with a lot of bang for my buck!

Stay tuned for the rest of the story as they say....
