Metallic Silver Server
I created fabulous silver insets on this gorgeous server...
This pretty piece started life as a hand me down...
Nice, but needed to be lighter and brighter for the New Year.
I started out by painting the server a creamy white and distressing the edges, this piece was well on it's way to beautiful!
Next came the drawer and door insets... Gorgeous silver metallic paint by Fusion Mineral Paint was perfect for what I had in mind.
The Matthew Mead Studio Metallics are so pretty and come in a variety of different finishes.

It's honestly hard to choose my favorite metallic color but I am a silver girl... silver jewelry all the way for me so silver insets on this cabinet were my first choice.

I love how smoothly the paint goes on and the best part is that there is no need for a top coat.
The metallics added the perfect accent to this farmhouse style server.
The gorgeous silver finish on the top of this piece has a beautiful reflection and shine.
I'm looking forward to adding Fusion Mineral Paint Metallics to more of my projects for the perfect little extra bling.
No surprise that this piece sold in a day!
Fusion Mineral Paint including this beautiful metallic line is available to my local friends at Revival Oporium at Backstreet Antiques.
Of course it sold in a day, it's darn cute. Those metallic paints are the most metal-tastic ones I've used. They turn anything into a metal look item.

Susan! I love your cabinet! Fusion paints are fast becoming a favorite for me. I haven't tried the metallics yet but now I think you've inspired me :) I love that you did the drawers and doors in metallic paint and it doesn't look "over done" at all. If you are interested in joining up to one more link party each week I host Making Broken Beautiful. It runs every Thursday thru Sunday and is a furniture and decor party. You do beautiful work and I'd love it if you would come inspire! I hope you have a great weekend!
