Speckled Enamelware Tiered Tray

It's a lucky day when you find a couple of matching speckled enamelware plates.

Speckled Enamelware Tiered Tray

I decided to create a tiered tray with them because they are just too beautiful to stick in the closet.

I drilled a hole in the center of each of the plates.

Using E6000 glue and a screw I stacked a chair leg between them as the pedestal.  On the top I added a wooden knob and then a wooden salad dish for the base.

I taped off the plates and painted the chair leg, knob, and base with Casement white Fusion Mineral Paint.

I cleaned up the dusty plates and they have a new life as a gorgeous pedestal dish perfect for desserts, appetizers, or to display your items.

This beauty never made it's way to the shop but looks gorgeous in it's beautiful new home with one of my best customers!
