Make a Rustic Reclaimed Wood Martini Sign

My friend asked me to create a sign for her
friend named Martin

Apparently the Martin family likes their cocktails. 🍸

I started out using a piece of reclaimed wood from an old dresser.

I painted it with one coat of black craft paint then distressed the edges.

Using my Silhouette Machine I designed the lettering then printed it out on stencil vinyl

With this machine you can import a design like this martini glass and use the trace tool to make it part of your sign.... an awesome feature!

I used a sponge pouncer to paint in the letters with white craft paint. When it was dry finished it off with a coat of clear matte spray sealer.

Don't you wish your name was Martin?
