Being a grandmother for the first time this summer gave me a new appreciation for baby clothes.
As the mother of four girls, I was especially excited about buying baby boy clothes for the first time. 
In a bag of hand-me-down baby clothes I was surprised to find a few pairs of vintage baby socks.

but I was double inspired when I saw Donna Funky Junk Interiorsbutton garland.

I've collected buttons for years. gathered some of my favorite vintage buttons from my collection and strung them onto waxed twine. 
(And yes, that glass of red wine helped with this project)

I created 3 two foot sections and tied them together.

I wrapped the garland around a flameless candle and  tied it in a bow on the back.

An easy project with a big pop of vintage!

I had an old fleece blanket I cut up a while back for a project and trust me I'll be using the rest of the scraps again real soon!

I had the opportunity recently to visit an old haunt  and while there happened upon a treasure!

This project started because I was doing laundry in the basement and while I waited for the dryer to finish I began cleaning up the workshop.

Today's project was very easy and doesn't require any special machines. It is made just like they may have been made 100 years ago. 
I'm making primitive, coffee stained ghosts out of recycled fabric and they couldn't be cuter! 
I'll show you how to coffee or tea stain and make your stuffed ghosts look like they came right out of the 1800's!
