DIY Chalkboard Message Centers

I've been busy lately making and selling message centers.

It seems as fast as I make them, they are out the door.

It's so much fun making them all different. One of a kind treasures.

This one began with a pallet made from a bundle of wood I found on the side of the road.

I'm adding my Amazon affiliate links so you can order the products I use at no additional cost to you. Click on the dark link.

I nailed the boards together then stained it with a dark Kona stain.

I added a pre-made chalkboard and chalk ledge, a cork board and metal clips to hang photos or coupons.

This message center also started with a pallet created from old boards but then I dry brushed the wood with white paint.

On this one I added a pre-made chalkboard, a galvanized steel storage pocket (that also happens to be magnetic) and steel hooks at the bottom.

The next memo board is created on a repurposed kitchen cabinet door...

A ruler at the top for decoration, a pre-made chalkboard, cork board, and another galvanized steel magnetic storage envelope.

I made magnets from old buttons and Scrabble tiles.

And my very favorite message center is the one I made from a vintage folding chair.

You can see the DIY for the vintage folding chair message center {here}.

I've had a lot of fun making these fun message centers and they've been very popular!
