How to Create a Pedestal Dish

This Pottery Barn inspired pedestal dish is a snap!
Erin at Beauty in the Attempt showed us how to make these very simple glass pedestal dishes.

She totally inspired me to make another visit to
the Salvation Army.
(and wouldn't you know it... it was 1/2 priced Wednesday!)

Here is what I scored today! Just what I was looking for.

 Plates and candlesticks... Perfect!

The plates were $.20 each, candlesticks $1.00 each.

A little E6000 on the top of the candlesticks and I

put the plate on top.

Flip the plate over to dry.

 And voila!

Another successful day of (half priced) thrifting!

  2. Oh I made some of these from things I found at the Dollar Tree. I also glued some bowls to the candlesticks, great fun and super to decorate with. Hugs, Marty
