Lavender Heart Sachets

4:44:00 PM

Sachet hearts made from drop cloth fabric...

Putting right sides together, I sewed around the heart leaving a small opening at the point to fill the heart.

I used antique buttons as decoration.

I filled each heart with a scented lavender seed mixture.

And there ya go!
(They smell great too!)

I made some in a kissy fabric too.

  1. I love them. The heart in the cage looks so great. I really like how you put your own spin on them with the buttons.

  2. Thanks so much for following me, you have no idea how thrilled I am!! Now I can follow you too! I absolutely love your craft room pics. I am finally going to get mine officially painted and set up next month (it's a wreak right now)!

P.S. You are one of 2 followers I got, and since I'm new I guess, I have no idea which one of you followed me first! So, I will send you each a "scrapbook for your wall" if you would like one. Just message me with the address you would like it sent to, and if there are any color combos or specific numbers you would like me to paint on the burlap ribbon, just let me know!

  3. Love the hearts. That painter's cloth is great, isn't it? The possibilities are endless!

  7. Loved the hearts with vintage buttons. Looks perfect in the cage. Just saw your cloche too. Great idea and a great Goodwill find. Once we start "thrifting", it's impossible to go back to back full price - wouldn't you say??
