Vintage Framed Cork Board

This frame is awesome!




I stopped at a garage sale the other day, but it was
closing and she was putting everything to the curb!

Great timing!

I really didn't stand there for long digging through her trash because that just wouldn't be right... but I did see 2 of the most gorgeous frames sticking out of the can!



So I grabbed them and ran!

The paintings were kind of awesome too... 
the glass was gold leafed on the back and I'm pretty sure the little paintings were originals.

They may have been worth a million bucks but I took them apart... 

here is the first one:


A giant 12" x 24" beauty!

  1. I absolutely love that frame, Susan! It is gorgeous with its curves and detailing. Perfect for a makeover. I've been looking at frames when I go to garage sales, too. You never know what you might find that would make for a great makeover.

  9. Oh man, those frames are just gorgeous!! I have been looking for something similar for AGES> but it is summer garage sale time, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for awhile longer, anyhow. Hope your trip is/was fantastic!!
