Vintage Framed Cork Board
This frame is awesome!
I stopped at a garage sale the other day, but it was
closing and she was putting everything to the curb!
Great timing!
I really didn't stand there for long digging through her trash because that just wouldn't be right... but I did see 2 of the most gorgeous frames sticking out of the can!
So I grabbed them and ran!
The paintings were kind of awesome too...
the glass was gold leafed on the back and I'm pretty sure the little paintings were originals.
They may have been worth a million bucks but I took them apart...
here is the first one:

A giant 12" x 24" beauty!
A million bucks to someone!

I absolutely love that frame, Susan! It is gorgeous with its curves and detailing. Perfect for a makeover. I've been looking at frames when I go to garage sales, too. You never know what you might find that would make for a great makeover.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cork board! I LOVE the little paintings! What will you be doing with them?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Why in the world would anyone throw that frame out or even more so, how did nobody buy it???? Their loss is definitely your gain!
