Unusual Side of the Road Finds

I'm getting kind of famous for strange side of the road finds...
at least in my family. They never know what they'll find
in the back of my car.

 You may Remember these?

As it turned out they were some kind of antique railroad scales...
and now, believe it or not.... they decorate my house.

This time I found this...

Can you guess what it was?

Does this help?

It is an antique upright piano...
It is all in pieces, great pieces too!

The pieces look like they were painted white over a dark stain...

It seems to be similar to this one,
it has many of the same pieces...

Especially for this one...
Held like this it looks like a door but it is actually
the top piece that opens in the front.

and how about this one...

it was the piece that covers the keys. I believe it is called a fall.

I love this one too... it has headboard written all over it!

Stay tuned...

I'm going to show you what I created from these pieces...

Anyone with ideas for those wooden piano hammers?
They have me stumped!
