Pottery Barn Inspired Mirror Class

Let me tell you about the fun we had painting mirrors that were inspired by the Christmas mirrors at Pottery Barn at

Last night I was lucky enough to attend a Ladies Night Out class where we created Pottery Barn inspired mirrors.

Seventeen women got together with wine and desserts

The class began with instructions on how to paint your frame.

We chose our favorite Annie Sloan Paint color and got right to work!

When the paint was dry, everyone was given a vinyl decal.

Depending on the size of the mirror, you could add the whole decal or only part of it.

Splatters of paint over the decal gave the mirror an aged
effect or a snowy look.

This one is mine...

I painted my vintage mirror with Emperor's Silk Red and
I didn't need to age the mirror because it already had awesome authentic age spots in the glass.

I can't wait to find a place in my home for my new mirror.

At the end of the class everyone was given a goody bag to take home.

A great time was had by all and I can't wait f
or the next class!

Friendship, wine, chocolate,
and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
