Unique photo displays are my favorite thing to make
and if you are looking for an easy and almost free project
to do then this one is for you...

This photo holder was created from a found piece of a broken table.

Beautiful antique furniture pieces are hard to let go of.

To create this one of a kind photo display I removed the leg, sanded and painted the apron, then gave it coat of clear wax.

See, I told you it was easy!

I used screws and a thick black wire I found at Home Depot
to stretch across the length of the piece then clipped on pictures.

It looks great here hanging on a chalkboard wall and
there is nothing to it.

It is a project that even the beginner can do.

Here is another version using the broken back of an antique chair.

This one was again painted, distressed with sandpaper, then
waxed with clear wax.

The screws are placed on each end and in the center of the chair back.

Both of these broken antique furniture pieces
were headed for the trash.

A little paint and they are now repurposed and gorgeous!
