French Clock Side Table

Home Depot has these $4.00 round, wooden cut circles.

I bought one that worked perfect for this project.

I wasn't sure what to do with the circle until I found
a wooden IKEA plant stand at the thrift store.

Using L brackets I attached the circle table top
to the plant stand then painted the whole thing
in Black Chalky Paint.

I cut the Roman numerals and the word Paris
on my Silhouette machine

then dry brushed
light grey over the top of the vinyl.

When I peeled the vinyl numbers off I was left with
a beautiful clock image.

I waxed the whole table with clear wax.

Dry brushing creates a beautiful design...

  4. Susan! The clock table looks great! I have 2 of those rounds just waiting for a purpose. :) I've done a small faux clock and an extra large one, maybe it's time to do a small one.
