Rustic Chalkboard Shelf
I began this project with a broken drawer
from an antique toolbox that I had once made into a
The garden lasted the season but was on it's last legs when I repurposed the repurpose.
The front of the drawer was still in good shape so I sanded it down and cut it to the size of the chalkboard I had on hand. You can see that I saved the original drawer handles....
Maybe a good place to hang keys?
I cut reclaimed wood for the sides of the chalkboard and one for the shelf. The whole thing is mounted to a 1x10" and hung from a rusty chain.
The chalkboard is rustic, repurposed, and reused and
perfect for someone's farmhouse kitchen.
