A Simply Joyful Sign

JOY is one of my favorite words...
and this easy and inexpensive sign is Simply Joyful!

I used an inexpensive piece of leftover pine and printed out the word JOY using the St. Nicholas font.

I gave the board a white wash using white chalk paint.

When the paint dried I used sandpaper to distress the edges.

Using a very well loved piece of carbon paper, I transferred the word to my board then painted in the word JOY with a Sharpie water based paint pen.

I drilled a hole in each top corner and inserted a piece of wire.

The finished signs are easy, inexpensive, and
fill me with JOY!
