The tote I'm transforming today for my gardening has been one of my favorites for a long time. I used this tote to carry my craft supplies, labels, and tags to craft shows. With one easy swipe of a stencil I'm transforming it into my new favorite garden tote. Take a look....
I had the day off with my car in the shop so I used this day to work on projects for my next craft fair. You had to see my kitchen... sewing machine out, paint, tables, trunks, transfers, totes... you name it, I was working on it. It looked a little like Santa's workshop. I thought I had more time but just realized that the craft fair I signed up for was taking place in 2 weeks...Yikes! Today I'm using scrap pieces of grain sack fabric from repurposed napkins for the front of the pillows and striped ticking fabric on the back.
Today's project fills a need for sure! I have a workshop in my basement but I work all over the house. I craft in the office and right on our huge kitchen island. I am forever forgetting things that I need in the basement. Or if I try to bring up everything I need I usually have my hands and my pockets full on the way up the stairs. Today I'm going to fix that problem...
