Pretty Pasta Jars

Here is how you can make your pasta jars beautiful!

Once a jar full of sauce can now be a beautiful storage jar.

I wrote a post called the Best Dressed Pasta Jars a few years back.

A little chicken wire, a little canvas and they were gorgeous.

Today I'm adding a cabinet knob to the top and then using oil rubbed bronze paint to finish it off.

The green knob even matches the tint in the pasta jar.

An easy upgrade that was almost free!

  3. Love them. I actually made a couple for candy to give as gifts this past Christmas. I have jars saved up just waiting till I can get out to spray paint the lids. Nice job.

  5. Found some 1/2 gal mason jars at a local hardware store....six for $10...think I'll use those with this project. Well done...very snazzy! (Do people still say "snazzy"?)

  6. We get those same jars with Great Value Salsa and couple other things. I just can't get rid of them since they have the measurements on them and say mason jar. Ours all say Atlas. I'm going to have to look at Hobby Lobby when they have knobs 1/2 off. Great ideas, glad you shared
. I used couple of jars at Christmas with wire thing that goes around the top and hangs a tea light in it, got from HL also. I wound a little vine w/berries around the top with ribbon to fancy them up for decorations.
I love the commemorative mason jars, both in the blue and green. Want to get more but haven't seen them advertised anymore. Our Ace has them but at high prices. If I can't find them anywhere else I'll have to give in and buy them anyhow. Have great week
