Fusion Mineral Paint has a new line of metallics in their Matthew Mead Collection.

And when I heard there was a brushed steel I was all about it!

What a great color for a paint... and it didn't disappoint!

I had this metal sign from the thrift store that had white letters that spelled out BELIEVE.

I held on to it for a long time looking for just the right thing to do with it.

I attached the letters to a wooden base and painted the entire thing with the Fusion Mineral Paint in Brushed Steel, this is the first coat.

I wish I had a BEFORE pic for you but it must have fallen into the black hole because I can not find the photo...
I think you can get the idea.

When the paint dried I wrapped the base of the letters with Christmas holly and it looks great!

The brushed steel looks gorgeous on these letters...
I knew I'd love this paint!

  2. Oooh yeah, loving it too. Can you find that paint in stores or have to order it? Would love some of that brushed steel, awesome color and effect it gives. I have a paper mache' Joy sign want to paint, think would love this on it. Ah well have to find another color I like. My crazy head always tells me to paint different that usual so will peruse my stash or go to Hobby Lobby for some spray chalk paint. Could get it at Michaels but why pay $2 more for same thing? Love how your Believe sign turned out, looks classy. The Ivy gives it festive aura. Happy weekend
