Vintage Screen Coffee Sign
When a friend gave me an old window screen I knew just what to make...
Stenciling on screens was a thing back in the day.
People stenciled their screen doors back in the 70's so I knew it worked well.
I used one of my favorite stencils from Old Sign Stencils by Funky Junk Interiors.
I gave the back of the stencil a spritz of spray adhesive then laid it onto the screen.
I used a light amount of paint on my sponge roller and rolled over the stencil.
I am using a white paint with my stencil so it shows up on a dark wall. If you are going to hang this on a light wall you would want to stencil with a darker paint.
In about a minute I had a beautiful stencil on this old screen.
I added repurposed faucet hooks to the bottom and created a gorgeous vintage coffee sign in no time.
