How to Make Pallet Easter Drink Coasters

Today I'm making easy DIY drink coasters with egg designs for the Easter holiday.

Pallet Easter Drink Coasters

I began these coasters like the stenciled coasters I made a while back, with small pieces of wood.

The wood originally came from a children's building set.

I set 4 pieces down and 2 across the back then used a nail gun to attach them together.

I made 4 of them.

The next step was to stencil the small pallets I created.

I used an Easter stencil from a pack of cardboard stencils I bought on Amazon.

The eggs were the perfect size for these coasters.

I chose 4 Spring colors and stenciled the eggs to the pallet coasters.

When the pastel colors dried I stenciled crate designs using black craft paint and the shipping crate stencil from Old Sign Stencils.

This adorable stencil came in handy on several of my projects this year like this buffalo checked cubbie shelf with crate stencils

When the black paint was dry I made a mixture of water and a gel stain in a spray bottle.

I sprayed the coasters to give them a slightly darker look.

That was all I needed to do to create these adorable Easter pallet drink coasters.

I use the last set I made all the time in my living room to protect my painted coffee table from drink rings.
