When my clock died I saved the parts.  I knew they'd be good for something some day and for some of those  lucky parts, that day is today! 

This weekend I created a little home office for myself. It's nothing much, a folding table and a large monitor are going to make my life much easier.

The idea for this project came to me when I  found this old cubbie shelf I had hidden in the basement. 
I began by removing the top panel and sliding out the back panel of the box. 

I've seen a lot of buffalo check, which I love but never  a simple rustic distressed version. 

Cheese boards are a popular appetizer idea during the holidays and this DIY tray began at Thanksgiving when the idea for making one to use for Christmas hit me. 

I've been meaning to do this for a long time, painting this stained bench has been on the to-do list forever!

If you ever thought about stenciling on glass I'm here to tell you today that it is easier than you might think! This project began with an old cabinet door with glass but you could just as easily use an old window. 

Today I'm making a fun Spring project using things I already have at home. I'm also combining it with another DIY project from the Homeroad archives...
