Buffalo Check Valentine Tea Towels
Valentine's Day ❤️ is right around the corner
and this easy project only takes minutes to make.
Next I cut a heart out of vinyl just by folding it in half and cutting it with a scissor.
Any kind of vinyl or contact paper is fine for this.
We are going to use the stencil heart, save the other heart for another project.
I peeled off the backing and stuck it onto the freshly ironed tea towel.
Then laid my buffalo check stencil on top of the heart cut out.
Using pink craft paint, I stenciled carefully over the part with the open heart.
And that was it... it literally took 20 minutes and looks amazing.
I made one with a dark red craft paint while I was at it.
They couldn't be easier to make.
I love this buffalo check stencil by Old Sign Stencils, it is so versatile!
I've used this stencil many times, check out some of my latest projects below.

Oh my, that stencil in the heart shape looks so good. I've been admiring that one for a while now. Love buffalo checks on anything and adding it to a tea towel works so well. Do you have to seal the paint afterwards?
ReplyDeleteI love how you did this Susan. Using two stencils on top of each other to create this special heart look!
