A Mother's Day Herb Garden

This was my favorite Mother's Day idea... 
a thrifted herb garden...

I had the perfect box, thank you Goodwill!
and painted it black...

I printed out the word "herbs" from my computer...

and transferred the word to the box using graphite paper...
(This is a step up for me, I usually use the "scribble with pencil" on the back approach...)

Then I hand-painted the word...

Next I distressed and antiqued the box...

I used copper plant markers to identify the herbs and some
Spanish Moss to cover the plastic I used to line the box.
