How to Create a Galvanized Table Top Look
Using a product called Pearl Plaster by Artisan Enhancements it was easy!
The table I chose to galvanize had a very damaged top.
As you are scrolling please pay attention to the bold links for more Homeroad information and the products I used for this project.
Pearl Plaster and Graphite Annie Sloan Chalk Paint created the perfect finish!
First I painted the table top in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Graphite which is almost black.
Using a sea sponge I pounced on the pearly-grey plaster paint.
When the paint dried I had the perfect galvanized finish.
I gave the table top a coat of Annie Sloan clear wax to protect and enrich the beautiful patina.
I added silver upholstery tacks to the edges of the table to create the look I was after.
I'm imagining this galvanized finish on the top of a gorgeous dining table or desk!
I love the galvanized paint technique and the nailhead trim too!
