A Mother's Day Herb Garden
I had the perfect box, thank you Goodwill, and when I got it home I painted it black.
Then I hand-painted the word with white craft paint.
I printed out the word "herbs" from my computer.

and transferred the word to the box using graphite paper.
I lined the box with plastic then added rocks for drainage then potting soil. Lastly I added my favorite herbs.
I used copper plant markers to identify the herbs and Spanish Moss to cover the plastic I used to line the box.
Love it, Susan! It is the perfect container to use for this, too. I had to laugh when I saw your title pop up on my dashboard, because I just drafted a post for the herb gift I put together for my daughter for Mother's Day.
