The table I chose to galvanize had a very damaged top.

Using techniques I learned the technique was easy.

Pearl Plaster and Graphite Annie Sloan Chalk Paint created the perfect finish!

First I painted the table top in Graphite which is almost black. 

Next I mixed up the pearl plaster with just the right tint of Graphite paint. 

Using a sea spongeI pounced on the pearly-grey plaster paint...

When the paint dried I had the perfect galvanized finish.

I gave the table top a coat of Annie Sloan clear wax to protect and enrich the beautiful patina.

I added silver upholstery tacks to the edges of the table to create the look I was after.

I'm imagining this galvanized finish on the top of a gorgeous dining table or desk!
