A Repurposed Chalkboard from a Door
The old door headboard turned out great!
But you know how I hate to have left over pieces
when I make a project.
This was the end of the door I cut off.
Hmmm.
The board slides out of here.
And the mitered trim pieces fit perfectly around it.
Hmmmmm....
Are you with me on this?
I used wood glue and clamps and glued the trim in place.
And painted the center with chalkboard paint.
And a chalkboard ledge to hold the chalk.
Waste not, want not!

You are so good about using every last bit of things...I would have saved the piece...but it would probably sit in a pile for while :). Looks great! Laurel
