DIY Personalized Casserole Dish Basket
As you scroll through this post please pay attention to the bold blue links for more Homeroad information and the products I used for this project.
This is a very easy project you can get finished in no time!
The first thing I did was to give the basket a quick coat of paint with a white spray paint.
The design I used was downloaded from the Graphics Fairy.
I printed the image in reverse, Mod Podged it face down onto the wooden bottom of the basket, then rubbed off the paper and waxed over the top.
I had no idea when I found it in the thrift store but it fits my Pyrex casserole dish perfectly!
Wouldn't it be great with a personalized design.
It would make a great gift!
Now when the casserole is finished there is a beautiful bee design underneath!
Thanks so much for visiting and before you go please sign up in the pop up for the Homeroad email so my next DIY tutorial will go out straight to you!
What a great idea! It's so pretty through the glass.

ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous! What a great vision you had.
ReplyDeleteI hate when you do a project that I like, that I can do, and one I have what is needed. Cause then I have to add it to my list. And I have that same basket for a 9x13 pan.

ReplyDeleteI can tell you why this basket fits you casserole dish. It originally came as a set with a casserole dish inside it. I know this because I own it. It was a gift to me about 20 years ago. I still have it and it is perfect for holding a hot casserole dish.
