Vintage photos displayed on old film reels...

A while back I bought a set of 12 of these stands from Decor Steals. I wasn't sure at the time what I was going to use them for but they've been perfect for a few different projects so far.

Today I attached old film reels to the back of the stand using my favorite glue for all occasions E6000. Then I attached a metal clip to the reel to hold the photo.

The photos look perfect clipped to the reels... It creates a special place to display your loved ones.

  2. Oh my gosh what a great idea! I actually just bought home a bunch of plastic reels from Goodwill that I planned to spray paint and hang on our family room gallery wall. Then I changed my mind.....guess I know what else I can do with them now! I'll just have to come up with my own version of the stands.

  5. Hey there! Any chance you remember the name of these stands? Looking to do the exact same thing but have been struggling to find something comparable.

    1. Hi Jordan... these stands I believe came from decorsteals.com. They were sold in a set of 12 a while back. They don't always have the same products on this site however. Good luck in your search.
