Three Drawer Dresser Turned Library Cabinet

An old three drawer dresser becomes a stylish library cabinet...

Here is the before... an ordinary three drawer dresser...
nothing special...

Until I painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in
Old Ochre.... This beautiful greyish white color is
the perfect neutral... not too white and not too grey.

I added library tags in place of the 4 knobs that
were originally on the top drawer.

White card stock slid inside the tag pulls label the drawers.

Long drawer pulls replaced the outdated hardware
on the two bottom drawers...

This ordinary dresser became something special with
the right paint color and unique hardware.

  1. How do you open the first drawer?

    1. Each of the tags has a pull on them to open the drawer... certainly wouldn't be very helpful if you couldn't open the drawer LOL
