Master Bedroom Painted Furniture Reveal

My master bedroom furniture is finished and it's time
to show you the room all put together.

I love neutrals so it is no surprise that I've chosen to paint my master bedroom furniture with blacks and greys.

I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® on all the furniture in this room. It paints on smoothly with no sanding or priming and the clean up is easy. Even drips on the floor wiped right up.

Please click on the blue links below to locate more information on the piece.

The knotty pine armoire is painted in Graphite.

The two dressers are painted in French Linen.

All the beautiful hardware on this furniture came from
D Lawless Hardware

I found the perfect heavy weight pewter knobs on their site to match the style I was going for and they got here quickly.

The barrister bookcase that sits between the bathroom and the closet doors, as well as the bedside table are also painted in French Linen.

We are lucky enough to have very high ceilings with skylights in this room which is where the light is coming from in this photo.

  1. omg Susan, I love how that turned out. You gave me tons of inspiration cuz I love ANnie SLoan French Linen and Graphite as well. Did you paint the inside of your furniture as well? Did you do any prep work on the wood or just paint over it? I know very little or no prep work is required with Annie Sloan paint. How long did it take you to paint the furniture??? So many questions I know.....Christine from Little Brags

    1. Thank you so much Christine... I did not paint the inside of the furniture... only the inside of the armoire doors. Truth be told I painted the drawers with the clothes inside :) It took me all day one day to paint all the pieces... ASCP dries quickly :)
