Today has been a quick one. I've been a sign making fool!

I've been making so many signs I'm thinking of completely filling my space in the antique shop with them in the coming months.

Today I'm making rustic signs from something that  is pretty easy to get your hands on.

Every beautiful garden needs a rustic garden sign or two. 

Repurposing is my favorite thing to do. It is economical and helps in a small way to keep our planet clean. 
My new love is repurposing the signs I've made. They've gotten scratched and damaged, I have too many because of blogging, or I am just tired of looking at them. 
Today I'm repurposing an old black sign and it couldn't be cuter for Valentine's Day!

This is my bathroom door... I made this sign several years ago.

Today I'm making a "laundry" sign and a sign for my craft room/office that says "create".

First I painted a board black, let it dry and printed out the word "laundry" on the computer using a font and a size that worked with the size of the board.
Next, using graphite paper, I traced around each letter and painted the letters white with acrylic craft paint.



Using a medium grade sand paper when the paint was dry, I sanded down the letter…

A rustic and distressed flag for the Fourth of July.

It is no secret that I love everything rustic and black and white too! 
Today I'm combining those two loves in one adorable, easy to make rustic sign. This fun sign has a changeable O for the seasons!

Make yourself a rustic Merry Little Christmas Sign.

Rustic is my favorite language and when I found a pile of old fence boards on the side of the road one day, I had several Christmas projects in mind. 

This is a project that has been repurposed  not once but three times. 

If this doesn't convince you that you need a vinyl cutting machine then nothing will!

I started this rustic fall project because I just put out my fall decorations and I needed a sign. 
You'd think I'd have a sign by now, after 12 years of making signs and projects for Homeroad but I don't so I made one in no time...

I love that this coffee stencil is so versatile that I can use only the parts of the stencil I need to make a project.

It's time again for another Dollar Store makeover and frankly, it's definitely time for Spring!  These little signs are perfect for sitting on a surface. They look great on a shelf or in a tiered tray for Spring decorating.

I was the lucky recipient of a few broken picnic bench pieces. They were from an old children's set, the best of the batch were the bench seats. 

Today marks my 5th craft fair at our local library. 

Sometimes an idea comes to me because I've found something interesting then the wheels start turning! 
Today's project was simply because I had extra stencils from another project and I found a board. 
An old chippy board from an outdoor project that had spent the summer outdoors was perfect for this chippy Christmas sign.
