Cleaning Tips with the HomeRight Steam Machine

I could not wait for this to get here!

The HomeRight Steam Machine

The minute the box arrived I ripped it open and dumped out all the pieces. I found the instructions and started reading.

The quick start section was all I needed to get started.

Let me just start this story by saying I am a pretty good housekeeper. My house is usually clean... maybe not spotless in the corners, but basically clean.

That being said, when the steamer came from HomeRight I didn't have to think long, I knew just where to start...

My girls' bathroom! A bathroom that up until just this year was shared by 3 of my 4 daughters.

I do not have a housekeeper so these girls (young women) have to clean their own bathroom... I personally try to stay clear of this bathroom. The girls are the only ones that go in it so if they want to live like slobs, I don't like it, but I let them. Eventually, someone breaks down and cleans it.

There was no doubt in my mind that the girl's bathroom would be the perfect place to try out the new HomeRight Steam Machine!

It didn't take me long to find dirt, and it didn't take the steam machine long to clean and sanitize it!

This was a crack along the shower... a-hem! Nice cleaning job girls!

The steam machine cleaned it up in no time. Just blast it with the spray nozzle and wipe clean with the rag. The hot blast of steam loosens the dirt and disinfects the area with no chemicals! The dirt just wipes away!

Dear girls... when you wash the floor you might want to get all the way to the wall... now the steam machine will clean this up in a second.

And corners... yes my daughters, you have to get the corners too! I really think I'm going to have to make the steam machine available to them.

The very best part is using the steam machine around the toilet. It not only looks clean... it is sanitized!

Every crack around the toilet is steamed and disinfected! The toilet hinges are easy to clean with a blast of hot steam! It's great for hard to reach places like this.

So you know you want one now right??!

Even if you don't make your kids clean their own bathroom, you will still need the HomeRight Steam Machine for your own cleaning. You can read more about it here.

This steam machine is great for around the kitchen, bathroom, anywhere you need a deep cleaning. It comes with several accessories so you can steam clean shower walls and doors, floors, range tops, ovens, almost everything can be steam cleaned!

And just in case you need one more reason why you need this steam machine... how about the kitchen sink? How often do the cracks and crevices around your sink get sanitized? A blast of steam around all the edges of the sink and faucet make it clean as it can be!

If you know you really need one and want to purchase it, here is my affiliate link where you can buy the HomeRight Steam Machine at no additional cost to you!

  6. We rent so we're not allowed to replace any of our flooring - but boy does it need replacing! After reading your review - I was thinking something like this might help clean the old tile surfaces in our home. Especially in those hard to reach areas and where there's been a lot of buildup. Even if it can't make the flooring look better - what a reassurance knowing it is CLEAN!

  9. Not only would I use this immediately in the bathrooms and kitchen, but sometimes I work on projects that are just too gross to touch! Since all were bound for the dump when I get them, I see no harm in steam cleaning them before I get to work.

  10. My whole house (except bedrooms) is tile. I would steam the floors and go after my son's bathroom.

  19. Yes, I would love to own a steamer. Just this morning I was thinking that I may need to consider hiring someone to clean for me. After a couple of bad falls, and old age creeping it's way into my life, cleaning is becoming harder and harder. The first place I would clean would be the fiberglass shower. Thanks for the chance to keep my independence, not to mention my privacy, awhile longer.

  23. Unlike yours, my house could use a good cleaning throughout! Since I retired and my daughter left home, I spend a little less time cleaning and more time working on my upcycled projects (which is why I always read your posts!) The kitchen and bathroom could really use some deep cleaning!

  32. I desperately need this machine after raising kittens for two years. I would start on my screen porch. It's hard to take everything off to scrub the tile while they practice for Cirque du Soleil. Grime and dust have built up not only on the tile, but screens. I have asthma and spinal problems,so vacuuming is really hard for me. Kitty litter takes it's toll on everything, including my carpet.

  33. Who is eligible to enter? I'll comment just in case I meet the requirements, lol. Steam machines are awesome for getting rid of mold and for getting unwanted smells out of things. I gave our shower drain a blast of steam and viola! It smelled as fresh as a daisy for a long time. One day I decided to haul our large artificial plant into our garage to give it a good steaming. While I was placing it back in our living room, my husband came home and parked in the garage. When he came into the house I asked him if he moved the steamer before parking. "What steamer?" was his response. I hurried into our garage only to find our steamer under the front bumper of our Jeep. It was a sad sight, friends. I would love to win another one! They are a great piece of equipment to own!

  35. Oh my gosh! You talk about your girls bathroom! My husband and 2 boys share one and I don't even want to walk in it AND seldom let anyone else near it either. It's bad, really bad! I hate to admit that but it's the truth. Ugh... Maybe something like this would help them with the cleaning and help take care of the hard water stains too. Do you know how it works on hard water spots and residue?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I am sure something like this would help Lori! Good luck to you! I don't know about the heard water spots because I don't have hard water and didn't try it but if you research the HomeRight site I'm sure they could tell you!

  43. Oh my, first of all my wife has been after me to clean our grill for several months! I am not lazy but we simply have not had the time. Much like most between jobs, family, friends and pets - we stay on the go it seems. I can think of many uses as my boat, bathrooms, floors, even the wash room. Honestly, my grill would be the first thing that I would clean because it needs it the worst and also it comes in contact with our food. Since we grill out about twice a week, it is in dire need right now. Bob bmorella60@gmail.com
