Upcycled Farmhouse Style Wall Planter

Flowers look beautiful in anything, especially something unexpected! Today I'm repurposing a cabinet door
for flowers!

I began with another cabinet door from the store closing alert I received a few weeks ago.

I painted the cabinet door using Coal Black by Fusion Mineral Paint. Fusion pretty much sticks to everything, goes on smoothly and looks beautiful as you can see from the next photo.

When the paint dried all there was to do was to screw the enamelware thrift store mail bin to the cabinet door with one screw and a washer.

I attached 2 D rings to the back and strung a buffalo check ribbon through them for hanging.

I filled the mail bin with a plastic liner using a thick ziplock bag cut to size. I poked a few holes in the plastic liner for drainage.

The liner will keep the dirt inside and the soil moist.

That's all it took to upcycle an enamelware mail bin found at the thrift store into a farmhouse styled planter to hang on the wall.
