How to Build a Junky Christmas Snowman
This is how I build a snow man with junky parts:
I picked up a package of bristled snowball ornaments from Target the last time I was there. I didn't know what I was going to do with them at the time but I sure do now!
I began by drilling a 5/8" hole into the bottom of 2 of the ornaments then removed the hanger. There was a bump of plastic under the plastic that fit inside the hole of the next ornament. I used hot glue to attach them. The bottom ornament was hot glued to an old wooden spool to create a base. If you read the post about my light up snowman, it's the same idea!
Next, I gathered anything I could find in my workshop to use as eyes, nose, mouth, scarf, hat, and arms. I used buttons, a push pin, a broken drawer handle, an old tin, and ribbon. As you can see I have a lot of fun building this kind of snowman!
