Christmas is over so how are you decorating  for the winter? How about that tiered tray you had filled with Santas and Christmas decorations? 

Everyone loves decorating tiered trays for the holidays and today I'm going to show you just how easy it is to style one for the Fall.

When the warmer weather comes around I like to decorate my garden as much as I like to decorate my home. 

Valentine's Day is on the way! Isn't it nice to have a holiday every now and then to decorate for?
Do you decorate for Valentine's Day? Truth be told, I decorate a little, mostly with the projects I'm making for all of you! 
My husband's and my anniversary are just a couple of days before Valentine's Day, so it just makes sense to have hearts around! 
This project is using a transfer paper I found online.  I'm using cardboard because it's cheap and the transfer paper because it's beautiful!

Do you collect anything?  I have several collections, some are vintage, some are nostalgic, and some things I collect are just plain practical.  Bottles... I collect bottles and jars. I've got shelves in my basement filled with jars and bottles and every once in a while I come up with an idea to do something with them. 

Today I'm creating the cutest large pallet wood Christmas tree for you! 
Well actually not pallet wood, it was leftover wood that secured a large box for furniture, I guess you could call it pallet wood. Wood from an actual pallet will do the same. 
Anyway, I created as I went with not much of a plan here and was pleasantly surprised in the end when I had a large sturdy, rustic wooden Christmas tree that I loved!

Here's an easy farmhouse update for a tired old thrift store basket. 

The old basket began life looking like this... 



It had great moveable handles but didn't have much else that made it special. Today I'm going to make it a little more awesome by using a simple flower stencil from Old Sign Stencils.


I taped the stencil to the basket and using a foam pouncer, stenciled using black paint onto the basket. Because of the rough basket weave, I needed to grab a small stiff brush and get down inside the weave with the black paint. 


When I removed the stencil, my basket was already looking great! 

My $2 thrift store basket was ready to fill with flowers and look so much better in just minutes. 

I'm ready to decorate the deck even if the weather isn't. 
Today I'm creating a giant tray with legs for the center of my outdoor coffee table. 
I'm painting it to match my new patio covers and it couldn't be cuter! 
The supplies are readily available and it was very easy to make! 

These adorable egg tassels are easy to make from an inexpensive paintable egg kit and can be used to decorate many things. 

As time goes by I decorate less and less for Christmas. 

One day last summer my daughter walked
up to the house pulling a sled.

This is an easy project with wooden hearts that can be decorated to go with any theme, any time of the year!  Plus, I have a few quick hints that make this easy project even easier! 

In case you blinked, it's March this week!  I dragged my Blade Runner saw out of the basement and onto the workbench for this fun project.  It's been years since I used it and now that I'm finished, I don't know why I waited so long!

It's nest and bunny time so I'm busy creating nests of all kinds filled with speckled eggs. Today I'm using a vintage ladle to support a nest, not for eggs but for carrots. 

This simple stuffed ornament project is so versatile! You can use just about any stencil, not just the cute tree stencil I used.  I used scrap fabric and the rest was easy...

I've wanted to make a mixed media project for a while now so when my sister sent me a photo of hearts she loved, I had a great idea! 

I can not take credit for this cute idea but I'm going to put my own spin on it and put it out there for everyone looking to decorate a tiered tray or fill a bowl with decorations for summer and the Fourth of July.
