My new little Grandson was Christened recently and I made him a  special little gift card globe.

Today I'm making Christmas gift tags from scrap card stock and a cute stencil! 
These tags used recycled card stock, coffee stained ribbon and a very inexpensive stencil.

Sometimes all you need is a smaller version of a great idea to make a perfect gift.

When you purchase a package of drop cloth fabric you will have enough for about a zillion projects.  Ok, maybe not a zillion but so many you'll be busy from now until Christmas for sure! 

A small gift can become extra special with DIY wrapping paper.

Trying to find the perfect Father's Day gift is not always easy.

But this hand-made gift is perfect in every way for the young dads in our family. 



On a recent trip to Target I found these glasses in the dollar section... 
well $3 section to be exact. 


They're cute but definitely not special enough.
Until I had the idea to get crafty with them. 
I used my vinyl cutter to cut out the birth dates of my grandchildren. 
One Dad has 2 boys and the other has one on the way. 
This mother of 4 girls is finally getting her boys in the form of grandsons!



I attached the vinyl stencil to the back of the glass and pressed down around all the edges.

Who couldn't use a quick and easy DIY hostess gift  for the holidays?

When it's gift giving time around here, everyone gets a home-made gift! At least most of the time they do. 
This easy to make personalized galvanized tray I made for my brother and sister-in-law. They love to spend time in their backyard under the gazebo. I thought a tray they could use to carry food from the kitchen to the gazebo would be a good idea.

I had a lot of fun making this project! (Don't I always?)
I began with recycled fabric from my workshop and a gingerbread man shape. 
I experimented with an iron-on fusing to create a thicker fabric for the gingerbread men that worked great! Use them as ornaments, gift tags, or place cards for the holidays.

I am creating a last minute gift for my husband.

This project came just in time for Mother's Day! I've had the idea to make plant markers for my herb garden for a while and when it ended up to be this easy, I was ready to make a bunch! 

Repurposed kitchen cabinet door projects!  Day made!  A friend called me with a curb alert... well actually it was more like a store alert.  Someone was throwing out the contents of their cabinet store... did I want it? 😳 I was soon on my way and filled up my car. I could have filled up a truck but I had to draw the line somewhere. 
Some of the cabinets were wall displays with doors that opened.  For this project, I removed the door and drawer front from the frame. I'm only going to use the frame this time. I glued and nailed the drawer front to the bottom of the frame. 
Next, I cut a piece of pre-made chalkboard from the hardware store to fit the door space.  I glued and nailed the chalkboard onto the back of the larger space.  This cabinet is a beautiful natural wood color with a clear fini…

Lavender smells so beautiful and little sachets for your drawer makes everything smell wonderful. They make great Mother's Day gifts too! 

Father's Day is fast approaching but here is a quick and easy gift you and your kids can make in no time.

I saw the cutest cardboard stars made by Living Inspiration on Instagram and I knew I had to give them a try! With a small twist of course!  
Everyone has cardboard tubes, toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, even gift wrap tubes. Today I'm giving a couple of those a try and creating a beautiful garland and ornaments with them.
