Country Living Fair 2013
Going to the Country Living Fair is great enough.
But going as a guest of Hometalk was very cool!
(I've secretly always wanted to be a cover girl)
Not only did we have complimentary VIP tickets
but we got a private meeting with
Sarah Gray Miller
the Editor-in Chief of
Country Living Magazine
Here is Sarah and
Miriam from Hometalk
they were both lovely!
All the women I met today were
very nice, it was great to meet them
in person after following them on
their blogs and being
virtual friends on
1. Evelyn from Sweet Song Bird 2. Melody from My Passion For Decor 3. (Me) 4. Jenna from SAS Interiors 5. Sarah Gray Miller 6. Christina from No 29 Design 7. Breida 8. Miriam from Hometalk 9. Laura from Finding Home
10. 11. Sherry from Sheer Serendipity 12. Jenny from Days of Chalk and Chocolate
Can anyone help with the name of #10 with that beautiful new baby?
Evelyn from Sweet Song Bird made awesome gluten free cupcakes!
I was one of those that didn't think to bring business cards... oops! Next time!
There was one barn after another of awesome crafts and treasures.
Here is my husband Jim bonding with another
husband at the food court.
It was a beautiful day,
a great ride to Rhinebeck
and I scored an awesome
antique drying rack for my laundry room!
I hope you enjoyed this project and you'll take a look at my Amazon Shop for craft supplies I recommend. Also while you're here please sign up for the Homeroad emails on my sidebar so I can send my latest DIY post straight to you.
Susan I was there!!!!!! Augh - I went right at 10am today, so wish I knew we could've met up.

ReplyDeleteHi Susan, I am the missing Hometalk blogger for #11 in the picture from the Country Living Fair. I ended up visiting a friend in Nyack on the way home and I didn't get home till almost midnight! It was so nice to meet you, Sarah, Miriam and all of the other bloggers! I am your newest follower. Sherry:)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lot of fun. I wonder if the Country Living fair ever comes to Minnesota?
ReplyDeleteThank for the mention Susan. It was so nice meeting you yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThat Jim what a sport! If I were him I would be more worried about all the ideas his wife came home with than what he had to carry to the car.
