Saving a Striped Table With a Hole

This cute little table looked so sad when I got it.

The milk paint on it literally blew off.

It has a few surface cracks in the top of the table
but I love the little hole in the top...
and I knew this table was worth a second chance.

I gave it a coat of paint in a creamy white color...

Using painters tape I taped off lines and
painted a soft grey color over the top...

When the tape was removed the stripes looked great!

Stripes going in the same direction as
the surface cracks in the top help hide them.

A little paint and distressing gave this
cute little table one more go around...

The way things are going around here,
it will be gone in couple of days just like

  1. Adorable! I'll bet someone grabs that fast from the booth! I'll be back there soon - I need more chalk paint!
