DIY Black and White Striped Cornucopia

I'm updating this simple cornucopia and giving it
a modern country look for Thanksgiving.

White wicker cornucopia

It was basket brown and I painted it white but now I'm thinking it needs more.

The first step was to tape it up with Frog tape

It seals the edges better than any other tape and there are no paint leaks.

Basket weave is a whole different story but I got very good lines using it on this cornucopia basket.

I pressed the tape down tightly against the basket then I painted the spaces with a chip brush with Fusion Mineral Paint in Coal Black

Painting a cornucopia black over the tape

Before the paint was completely dry I pulled off the tape.

It was perfect!

No boring brown cornucopia this Thanksgiving!

I'm going with a striped, graphic black and white beauty!
