Repurposed Christmas Ribbon Organization
Quite by accident today I figured out a great way to organize the Christmas ribbon.
You see I had this wooden mug holder from the thrift store I had just painted vintage green.
I had added a glass knob to the top and was ready to use it as an ornament display at the craft fair.
It ended up within reach on my workbench this weekend when I was cleaning up so I grabbed it and hung a few ribbon rolls on it.
Wow! Winner move!
All the Christmas ribbon in one place!
I wish I could say that I meant for this to happen but it is perfect and it even looks great!
Every once in a while a great idea happens by accident!
What a great idea! Seriously! happy monday laura
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Laura! I thought so too after I got over being amazed! LOL Have a great week!
DeleteGreat idea! I see mug trees all the time in thrift stores.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of them... I might have to start using them all for ribbon LOL
DeleteHaha! Don't you love when it works out and you didn't even have to think hard about it? Lol! The same thing happened with my scrapbook supply organizer... it was supposed to go to my booth because I needed those 12 cubbies for smalls. Instead I was cleaning my table when it was sitting there empty and it ended up getting filled up. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that green color that you painted it! And I need some of that buffalo check ribbon. I also like the burlap with buffalo check, cute!
I love that color too Angie! Wish I could see a photo of your cubbies... sounds great! Have a great day! I love the buffalo check best too!
DeleteHow cool is that? I have a similar store-bought stand that was actually made for ribbon. And thank goodness for that since I have so much of it (especially for Christmas!). Thanks for sharing. xo Kathleen |Our Hopeful Home
ReplyDeleteYou can never have too much ribbon Kathleen! Have a great week!
