These beauties on my mantel started out life as bright orange Dollar Tree pumpkins! You can't even believe the difference! When I received a box of textured paints from DecoArt #ad I knew they would make those inexpensive pumpkins look amazing!

I love trying new products and this milk paint is one I've wanted to try for years. Milk paint goes on smoothly and was the perfect paint to use on this roll top desk makeover. 

Today I'm working on a roll top desk using Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint inTypewriterand a bonding agent.
This small roll top desk was adorable to begin with but I knew that painting it black would make it fantastic!

Cement paint is one of my favorite things to make and I've made it several different ways in the past.

Sometimes it just takes a little experimenting to turn something old into something new. Last weekend was my daughter's garage sale and before the leftovers were sent to donation I grabbed something from the pile that gave me an idea...

This project is a wall art makeover.  I know, kinda strange but I've done it before and I'm doing it again. 
I'm creating a stenciled Christmas tree farm sign from an old painting that hung in my house. 
This project definitely had some challenges but the new stenciled Christmas sign looks great in my home now!

Sometimes a little spray paint can make all the difference between tossing something and loving it! 
This weekend I was cleaning up summer on the deck when I ran across a lantern I bought earlier in the year. 
The lantern was rusty (and not in a good way), the frosted glass was damaged, and it looked like heck! 
Until I grabbed my favorite spray paint and performed a Christmas miracle!
