This project might not be what you're thinking when you read the title.

Another fun project today that I came upon on a whim.

This project started because I was doing laundry in the basement and while I waited for the dryer to finish I began cleaning up the workshop.

Welcome to my collection of funky Christmas trees, today's project is an easy bottle brush snow globe that won't cost a lot to make and looks beautiful! 

This Fall project began with an old light fixture a friend gave me after renovating her bathroom... How did she know? 

It almost ended up in the trash at my friends garage sale but I grabbed it because I saw the ghostly potential.

Ok, lets talk about taking down Christmas now... How long do you keep it up?
I like to make a gentle transition into winter in my house. 
I keep up many of the pine trees and dark green accents while adding a little snowflake action wherever I can. 
Today I'm repurposing my ceiling light and creating a "Christmas into Winter" decoration.

A fun project using an old repurposed lamp fixture.

I am sure you are just as excited as I was to see  the final Flea Market Flip projects done by the students. 

This is where this project started. 

If you've been following for a while you know I love to create cloches! 
I make them out of anything I can find, wire, glass, plastic... you name it, I see a cloche! 
Today I'm repurposing three of my kitchen pendant lights to create the cutest large cloches to add to my collection!

Have you ever repurposed a light fixture before?  If you know me you know I hate to throw away anything and when we installed new ceiling lights recently I just had to recycle the old glass fixtures. 

Broken vintage lamp parts are as good as gold to a repurposer like me!

This was a fun project repurposed from a very interesting ice bucket. 

As you know I love to repurpose items rather than send them to the land fill. 
When I recently replaced my kitchen pendant lights I turned the glass globes into something I use around my house all the time. 
Today, I'm repurposing another glass globe into a beautiful glass bell that actually rings! 
Decorate it for the seasons by easily changing out the bow.

Here are two projects that just made me happy. Repurposed from another old light fixture. While I'm not a big fan of snow, I do love the beauty of snowflakes.

If you've ever heard the sound of an outdoor fountain then you know how beautifully relaxing it can be. 
I've always wanted a fountain on my deck but frankly they are pretty expensive and usually you need a readily available power source. 
Today I'm making my own inexpensive fountain that works off solar power!
