Neutral Christmas Holiday Ideas

All my favorite things ended up on the mantel this year! Neutrals are my thing and this mantel is the perfect simple neutral decor for Christmas.

Mantel with houses, greens, trees and clock

After a stop at the Target dollar section and a quick trip to Michaels I had just what I needed for a neutral Christmas mantel!

As you read this post please visit the bold green links for more Homeroad information!

Painted christmas sign on mantel with house

I started with this sign and a neutral theme.

The sign is mine, I made it last year and it's my very favorite!

The glittery Santa must have been busy visiting the houses last night because he is not facing in the right direction anymore!

White houses and greens

These adorable white bisque houses have a hole in the back for a battery powered tea light.

They came from Target last year and were $3 each.

These simple houses can be found in many places.

You sure can't beat these prices!

They look adorable at night!

That cute little white truck with a tree is an ornament I found in Target's Christmas section this year.

I love the trucks with the trees and when I found the white one I jumped on it!

The metal mold Christmas trees are from Michael's.

They are made to replicate old chocolate molds.

The carved wooden tree is also from Michael's craft store.

And last but not least the clock is from Tuesday Morning and has been the anchor for all my mantels since I got it!

Look through your Christmas decorations and grab all the white, silver, and dark green items to use to decorate your mantel this year.

I added a little greenery on each end and tiny white lights and called it a night.

Neutral Christmas Holiday room with tree and mantel

Update: Rather than a tree skirt I like using a crate at the bottom of the tree.

I cut off the back of an old wine crate and slid the tree stand inside.

You can also fill the crate with a blanket.

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
