Over the years on Homeroad I've literally made hundreds of DIY Christmas decorations. 
Of all the fun projects I've made, Christmas trees are my favorites...

My favorite decorations to make are Christmas signs. 
I've made and sold hundreds of them and they are all different. 
Today I'm combining a new stencil with an old stencil and a piece of reclaimed wood.

Another year of making repurposed Christmas ornaments.

Sometimes an idea comes to me because I've found something interesting then the wheels start turning! 
Today's project was simply because I had extra stencils from another project and I found a board. 
An old chippy board from an outdoor project that had spent the summer outdoors was perfect for this chippy Christmas sign.

We had a Christmas tree dilemma this year... our puppy! 
As some of you know we adopted Sam last January but what you might not know is that Sam is a terror! 
If something falls on the floor for even a minute he has it and has chewed it to bits! 
Needless to say I was very concerned about our Christmas tree this year but I came up with a solution!

I'm always looking for a way to repurpose so this  recycled project was easy!

All my favorite things ended up on the mantel this year! Neutrals are my thing and this mantel is the perfect simple neutral decor for Christmas. 

Here they are... all my scrap wood trees in one spot!

Amazing how many trees you can create with the leftover scraps from other projects.

My very favorite this year are the neutral plywood treesmade with pieces of a broken crate. 
I didn't even get to save one for myself they sold so quickly! 




These cute little ruler trees were another hit! 
Washi tape, tape measure, and vintage ruler embellished. 

They came in all sizes and designs. 




This scrappy wooden treefrom 5 years ago is my first ever and it started with an old sign that said "Seasons Greetings".




These mini scrap wood trees used colored scraps and couldn't be cuter!
