Everyone loves decorating tiered trays for the holidays and today I'm going to show you just how easy it is to style one for the Fall.

Today I'm trying a quick project using a package of great transfers I received recently. 
This project can be done on any thrifted item or one you already have at home like I'm doing.

This teeny tiny tiered tray was an idea I had after realizing I had an abundance of small terra cotta saucers for plants.  The most recent plant saucer I acquired was no larger than 2" across! 

I just love decorating my tiered tray for the season and for special holidays.

This cute project was put together using several interesting vintage kitchen pans. With a few vintage pieces I created a new and unique tiered tray for Easter.

I was cleaning out and throwing away when I ran across a footed tray I found at the thrift store a while back.

The tray wore out it's welcome at my house, things come and go very often. 
Often my things are shared with my daughters that have houses end up back here again. 
I decided before I sent it back to the thrift store I'd try to up-cycle it for the fall.

I gave it only one coat because I was going for a very rusty look in the end.

I'm repurposing one of the tiered shelves from the Target dollar spot. I think we all have one or at least I see a ton of them in the thrift stores. 
So if you have one and you're tired of the look like I was then you'll love this fun idea to jazz it up a bit.

Earlier this week I showed you how I made a footed cutting board using wooden egg cups. 
The wooden egg cups were found at Marshalls but similar are available online. 
Today, I'll show you what I did with the rest of the egg cups that came in that package.
I was really thrilled with this one and it's the perfect size for jewelry or the kitchen! 

Here is an easy and fun project for decorating a tiered tray for Valentine's day using only scraps and leftover pieces of scrapbook paper and ribbon. Literally free!

I bought these baskets from the Target dollar spot and repurposed them for my patio. 
They are almost like large berry baskets and will look beautiful when I'm finished. I began by finding the center of each basket by drawing a line from corner to corner using a ruler. 

Next, I drilled a hole into the center of each basket then put a double sided screw through the bottom. The double sided screw went into an old wooden base I had leftover from a repurposed ice bucket project.

Tiered trays are a great way to recycle pieces that were headed to the trash. 

How is it that it is already almost March?! Maybe because I retired from teaching last summer, or because of the circumstances in our world right now,  but I've never had a year go faster.  So seeing that it's time to change out my holiday decor, I'll start with a beaded garland. 

Enamelware is my absolute favorite! 

It's a lucky day when you find a couple of matching speckled enamelware plates.

This project is so free and easy to make that it's sinful!  The inspiration came to me from a project a friend did recently and I just happen to have the sweet gum tree nearby!
