How to Make a Raised Cutting Board

Today I made one of the quickest project ever! 


I turned a garage sale cutting board into a raised cutting board with one easy step!


I'll show you how easy it is and where you can get the supplies for less!

I found these gorgeous wooden egg cups at Marshalls.

These cups are supposed to hold eggs.


And yes you can certainly use them to hold Easter eggs in your decor. 


I understand they can also hold soft boiled eggs.

But, I have a different idea for these little cuties!

Legs! 


I used wood glue and attached 3 of them to the bottom of this beautiful cutting board. 


They could really be attached in either direction but I thought the flat surface had more area for the glue to grip.

I will use the other 3 from this set to make another tray.

While the glue dried I put a heavy crock on top.

I gave the whole tray a coat of hemp oil to enhance the wood and I ended up with the most beautiful pedestal tray cutting board!

Keep your eyes out for wooden egg cups!
