I've always wanted one of those metal wreaths on a stand. I've seen them in many colors and designs on the farmhouse websites. 
Problem is that I refuse to pay the prices they are asking for some things that I'm sure I can make a recycled wreath for less. 
Today I'm making this easy wreath by recycling seltzer cans from my garage.

Where do you hang your wreaths? On the wall? On a door with a wreath hanger? Or maybe you have one of those very cool wreath stands I've seen online?
I hang wreaths all over my house, I have them on most doors, on the walls and even on a barn door but I don't have a wreath stand and I really think I need one. 
Today I'm going to make a wreath stand using parts from my workshop. Creating from random pieces I have laying around is one of my favorite things to do.

Recently while out shopping I saw this adorable metal flying ghost wreath and thought right away that it was something I could make in no time. 
I had to figure out what I could use and teach you to use that was readily available. 
So I figured it out and it came out very cute!

Recently I sold a window shelf that I made  from a vintage window.

This wreath started out as the end of summer in my garden. 

A pot full of perennial sage.

I cut down a handful of boughs and gathered my supplies. 

A clipper for the thicker stems, green floral wire, and a metal wreath form.



I began by wiring small bunches of sage to the wire wreath form and continued all the way around the form.

The smell in the room is fabulous!
When you've gone all the way around the wreath form, you're finished!



The sage wreath is ready to hang. The sage only keeps it's smell and shape for a few days but fills your home with a beautiful smell.

Every time I think I'm out of ideas for Homeroad,  I head to the thrift store.
I almost always come away with at least one idea and today was no different. 
I found a great wreath at the thrift store and finished up my idea with a couple of items from the dollar store.

Recently I saw someone make a wreath in a pot and I thought I'd give it a try! 
My neighbor recently cut down trees on their side and it dropped a bunch of branches on our side of the fence so I'm going to make a wreath! 
Most of the supplies for this project can be found around the yard or on a walk in the neighborhood!

Did you know it's really easy to make a wreath? Today my daughter stopped over with a couple bunches of preserved flowers from Trader Joes and a $1 wreath form from Dollar Tree. In minutes, she had a wreath!

This project was just fun!  I saw a similar wreath at Hobby Lobby and while it probably cost me more to make it than to buy it with a coupon, I love a good challenge.

This easy to make hoop wreath is a knock off of my own Spring Wreath I made earlier this year. 

In an attempt to decorate for Valentine's Day with a neutral pallet, I had an idea!  It just so happens that this idea is free to make too! 

On a recent trip to the craft store, I couldn't help but notice all the beautiful embroidery hoop wreaths.

Here is one of the easiest projects you'll see in a long time!  This Dollar Tree sign was easily transformed into the perfect hanger for wreaths all year long and only took a coat of paint! 

If you're looking for an easy project that costs almost nothing, then this is the one for you!  I'm using an old faced cotton curtain I saved and an inexpensive wire wreath frame. 

I'm experimenting with a different rust technique today, turning a few dollar store items into a rustic Valentine's Day wreath. 
I'm not a fan of decorating with the bright red and pink colors of Valentine's Day but I do love hearts. Today I'm taking some very shiny hearts and making them look old and rusty!

This cute sign came about because I had a frame I needed to fill.  You just can't have a perfectly good frame just sitting there without anything in it.

If you've been following along this Christmas season you've seen that I had a whole bunch of wooden ornaments that were made by a special family member. 
I literally had about 30 of them and wanted to find a way to celebrate these ornaments and give them new life. 
I made a very cute hanging decoration but I only used 5 of the ornaments. 
So I had another idea...

When my clock died I saved the parts.  I knew they'd be good for something some day and for some of those  lucky parts, that day is today!
