I began with these simple supplies you my already have at home:

An embroidery hoop, a few wood slices, and glue.

I began by tracing wood slices onto neutral colored scrap book paper and cutting them out.

The wood slices are going to be my pumpkins.

There are several ways you can attach the paper to the wood slices but this one works well for me.

You can read more about this decoupage technique in this project tutorial.

Mod podge on wood slices

I coated the wood slices with quite a bit of Mod Podge and let it dry.

I covered the Mod Podge with the scrap book paper circle and ironed it with my mini craft iron.

This technique works well with no bubbles but you could certainly use white glue instead.

The wood slices can be purchased on Amazon or if you have the wood at home, you can cut your own slices.

The best part is that you can make this wreath with ANY scrap book paper, the look is up to you! See below for more scrap book paper suggestions from Amazon.

I attached the covered wood slices to the embroidery hoop using hot glue and Super Glue Fix-All Adhesive from the dollar store.

Next, I carefully cut wine corks in half and then down the middle and glued them around the wreath randomly for pumpkin stems.

I used Spanish moss to fill in the spaces around the pumpkins and at the base of the cork stems.

I added a few leaves I had laying around from another project.

Lastly, I added rebar wire to the back of the wreath for hanging.

I love the look!

This brick wall was an easy peel and stick DIY project too!

It looks great on my front door and is just the right size for above the DIY Dentil moulding.

I can also hang it on the new DIY board and batten wall next to the front door.
