Nothing screams Spring to me more than a cloche with a bird's nest.
I don't know who actually made the first lampshade cloche but I've always wanted to give it a try,
There are so many variations and mine is made with things I found in the workshop today.
The thrift stores are filled with old lampshades and if you find one that has the right bones, this easy project takes minutes to make!

I just love a cloche around anything!
I've made so many through the years, each one just a little bit different than the next.
Today while cleaning out the shed, I ran across a roll of wire fence.
I was about to throw it in the garbage and then had an idea!

Nothing says Spring to me like a wire cloche with a nest so when I saw how easy it was to make one from very inexpensive materials I was all in!
I'm so excited about this project! I've seen this project before but when I tried to find out the source I saw that a whole bunch of people have made it in all different ways on Pinterest.
I'm giving it a try today three different ways and I love them all!

Perusing the isles in TJMaxx, and look what I found.

If you've been following for a while you know I love to create cloches!
I make them out of anything I can find, wire, glass, plastic... you name it, I see a cloche!
Today I'm repurposing three of my kitchen pendant lights to create the cutest large cloches to add to my collection!

I've always loved the look of a cloche on a plant.
I've made a few in the past and today while getting my backyard ready for spring I decided to make another one.
This time I'm using hardware cloth because that's what I had on hand.

I've made these before and they are certainly worth revisiting!
Grab a few finds from around your house and a couple of stemless wine glasses and follow along!
You'll be glad you did!

A DIY chicken wire cloche is easy to make and a gorgeous Spring decorating must have.

Turning a Mason jar into a cloche is as easy as 1 2 3!

Everything just looks better under a cloche, don't you think?  Not a fact, just my opinion and since my plan is to use up everything I've collected over the years, I'm showing you how to make a very easy glass cloche today!

Now more than ever before it is important to use what you have.

Have you found any vintage fabric at the thrift store lately or do you have any heirloom fabric that you've been holding onto for years?
I've got a great Fall and Halloween project for you with a vintage vibe today.
I'm using heirloom fabric and a couple of candle stands to create the cutest and easiest ghost duo to decorate your home for Fall.

Today I'm going to share a pumpkin project I've seen around a lot lately.  I'm putting my own spin on it which I think makes all the difference! All the items can be purchased in the dollar store and these pumpkins just couldn't be cuter!

"What are you going to do with that glass vase?"

That was the question I got while carrying this large vase out of work...

Finding DIY Inspiration in the clearance aisle.

I've been thinking about what else I could make with  the chicken wire I had leftover from  the chicken wire screen project.

Recycling and using what I have is my favorite thing to do and fall pumpkins are another! Today I'm going to combine those loves and show you my fall mantel along with how I recycled a ribbon spool and created a cute pumpkin!

Today I'm re-purposing my favorite wire garden  cloche for Halloween.

Yep! You read that right... coffee grounds.
I've seen people make clay from scratch using instant coffee but today I'm experimenting with store bought air dry clay and coffee grounds.
You know, the grounds leftover from making a pot or cup of coffee.
Other than using them in the garden, I was sure there must be other good uses for it so here goes...

Do you have Oak trees and acorns where you live?
We have a ton this year and while I'm out walking my puppy I find them everywhere.
Yesterday I stuffed my pockets full of large acorns while trying to keep my puppy from eating them at the same time!
I've made glittered acorns in years past but this time I had another idea.
